Who is an NTP?

Non-Supervising NTP employees include: School Counselor, School Nurse, School Psychologist, Instructional Technology Specialist, Dental Hygienist, Home and School Visitor, Behavioral Specialist, Social Worker, Physical Therapist/ Occupational Therapist and Speech Language Pathologist

Overview

The NTP Observation process is designed for non-supervising and supervising NTPs. The NTP Observation process has three main phases.  Phase one includes goal setting, selecting component focus areas and adding evidence.  Phase two involves ongoing updates throughout the school year.  The final phase involves scoring of the self-assessment rubric.

NTP employees can begin completing the form and do not have to wait for a supervisor to begin the process. Teachers who are on the NTP plan must complete the following items:
