We’re working together on a series of enhancements and improvements to the system that will streamline workflows for both Agents and Underwriters. These updates are designed to reduce the time spent on manual keying so all users can focus more on supporting and engaging with our customers.

Our newest enhancements and improvements are listed below.

Agent Access Edit Project 2026

Access to Coverage Tab to Complete Policy change

This enhancement allows to edit select fields on the Coverage tab during the policy keying period for upcoming 2027 Crop/Reinsurance Year and later applications and policy changes. Edits may be made prior to and up to 25 calendar days after the Sales Closing Date for the applicable county and crop. Additionally, all policy changes will be noted in the Policy History section for review at any time. This replaces the previous "New Policy Change" workflow for standard policy types only (excludes supplemental and rainfall coverages).

Note: These changes are slightly different for Dual Season Commodities such as wheat, canola, and barley.

Agents: Completing a Policy Change request

Override Print Center Preferences

Printing preferences have been streamlined to provide a more consistent user experience. Agents will now be able to access all menu options. Previously, this was only available to underwriters and above. For agents who have elected to receive hard copies, this means they can now choose to generate documents and NOT send them to the Print Center.

Use Agency Printing Preferences is selected by default. When Override Agency Printing Preferences is selected, users can choose to Post PDFs to Agency FTP or Send to Print Center.

CLU Search and Import Functionality on Fields Tab

A new CLU Search and Import tool has been added to the Fields Tab. It works nearly identically to the Search CLU Tool in the mapping system.

Remove Spousal as Default Entity Type

To help reduce PASS errors, the default Entity Type selection has been removed. Users will now be required to actively select an Entity Type before saving a record. Consistent with existing validation on the Name and Agency fields, the Entity Type field will be highlighted in red when left blank, helping ensure all required information is entered before the record can be saved.

Delete Line and APH with One Click

To simplify the acreage line deletion process, CSR+ users will be able to delete an acreage line and its associated APH database in a single action beginning with RY 2027. Currently, users must first remove the APH database from the acreage line and then delete the acreage line separately.

Bulk Printing Empty Form Enhancement

At the batch level, when using Create Empty Form, the Agency Select field will now automatically default to the agency name when only one agency is associated with your username. Users can still choose Agency Select to print a completely blank form. If multiple agencies are associated with the username, current functionality remains unchanged.

Ignore Duplicate SSN Validation for LLC and Insured

In the past, an LLC could not have the same SSN/tax ID as an individual/spousal person already existing in AgriNet. This requirement has been removed. AgriNet now allows an LLC to use the same SSN as the insured and will no longer display a duplicate SSN warning message.

Lock Acreage Lines After PP Claim is Paid

For the 2026 reinsurance year and beyond, any Prevented Planting (PP) acreage line marked with an A, O, or OP code after a claim has been paid will be locked and cannot be edited. This prevents changes from being made after the Claims application has processed the acreage, helping ensure AGX and Claims data remain consistent and accurate.

Turfgrass (TVS) Added to AgriNet for Policy Entry

Turfgrass (TVS) has now been added to the Policy side of AgriNet and is ready for policy entry. Please use the RMA Commodity Program Map Viewer to verify eligibility by state and county. This also makes it available to quote as a Max Estimate in the quoter.

The rating functionality for TVS has also been implemented in AgriNet, allowing users to generate detailed quotes and access policy rate information directly within the system.

Agents: Keying Nursery Value Select (NVS) & Turfgrass Value Select (TVS)

Turfgrass (TVS) Available in Nursery Quick Quote

Turfgrass (TVS) has been added as a commodity in AgriNet and is available in Nursery Quick Quote. TVS is not available for quoting through Quick Quote.

Since TVS is very similar to NVS (Nursery Value Select), it is quoted using the same methodology and processes as NVS within AgriNet.

SOI/PR & MBSOI Precision Ag Identification

The MPCI SOI/PR and Map Based SOI will now clearly identify Precision Ag acres by displaying a “PRAG” label next to applicable acreage values and adding a "Remarks" section note that defines PRAG as Precision Ag Acres.
