Starting with the 2027 Reinsurance Year, agents can update established supplemental coverages directly within AgriNet using the New Policy Change feature.
Instead of submitting many routine supplemental coverage changes for underwriting assistance, agents will be able to make eligible updates themselves through the Supplemental Coverage tab during the active keying window.
This improvement means:
Quicker policy servicing
Immediate processing of eligible coverage updates
Less administrative back-and-forth
Improved efficiency when assisting customers
We believe this enhancement will simplify everyday policy maintenance while providing a faster and more streamlined experience.
A new bulk linking enhancement allows users to link the same shareholder policy to multiple fields within an acreage line at one time, eliminating the need to link each field individually.
Bulk Shareholder Tool in Mapping
The new Bulk Shareholder Linking enhancement in AgriNet Mapping allows users to link multiple fields (CLUs) within a unit to the same shareholder policy in a single action. This reduces repetitive manual shareholder entries within the Plant Window. A Bulk Shareholder feature will be added to the policy side soon.
More flexibility has been added when entering planted acres. Users can now save acreage information even if they don't have the planting date available yet. The system will still flag the missing date with a warning, but it won't stop the user from saving their work. Acreage Reports have also been enhanced to display both field-level acres and line or unit totals. This gives agents the option to gather planting date information later during follow-up conversations with the insured.
This enhancement allows a user to edit select fields on the Coverage tab during the policy keying period for upcoming 2027 Crop/Reinsurance Year and later applications and policy changes. Edits may be made prior to and up to 25 calendar days after the Sales Closing Date for the applicable county and crop. Additionally, all policy changes will be noted in the Policy History section for review at any time. This replaces the previous "New Policy Change" workflow for standard policy types only (excludes supplemental and rainfall coverages).
Note: These changes are slightly different for Dual Season Commodities such as wheat, canola, and barley.
Printing preferences have been streamlined to provide a more consistent user experience. Agents will now be able to access all menu options. Previously, this was only available to underwriters and above. For agents who have elected to receive hard copies, this means they can now choose to generate documents and NOT send them to the Print Center.
Use Agency Printing Preferences is selected by default. When Override Agency Printing Preferences is selected, users can choose to Post PDFs to Agency FTP or Send to Print Center.
A new CLU Search and Import tool has been added to the Fields Tab. It works nearly identically to the Search CLU Tool in the mapping system.
To help reduce PASS errors, the default Entity Type selection has been removed. Users will now be required to actively select an Entity Type before saving a record. Consistent with existing validation on the Name and Agency fields, the Entity Type field will be highlighted in red when left blank, helping ensure all required information is entered before the record can be saved.
To simplify the acreage line deletion process, CSR+ users will be able to delete an acreage line and its associated APH database in a single action beginning with RY 2027. Currently, users must first remove the APH database from the acreage line and then delete the acreage line separately.
At the batch level, when using Create Empty Form, the Agency Select field will now automatically default to the agency name when only one agency is associated with your username. Users can still choose Agency Select to print a completely blank form. If multiple agencies are associated with the username, current functionality remains unchanged.
In the past, an LLC could not have the same SSN/tax ID as an individual/spousal person already existing in AgriNet. This requirement has been removed. AgriNet now allows an LLC to use the same SSN as the insured and will no longer display a duplicate SSN warning message.
This enhancement allows users assign SBIs to specific policies under a primary insured. It helps support policy-level situations like landlord/tenant SBIs and Transfer of Coverage SBIs, and it brings AgriNet more in line with RMA by allowing SBIs to be assigned more accurately.
Bulk Date Plant has been added to the Fields Tab in AgriNet. This will allow the users to apply the same plant date to multiple fields when keying acreage reporting data.
Users can now save SBI Information without completing the Contact Information tab, once required fields (First Name, Last Name, Tax ID, and Tax Number) are entered. Incomplete Contact Information will be indicated by the SBI name displaying in red in the SBI List, along with a tooltip highlighting missing details. All other functionality remains unchanged.
Agent users can now key an Assignment of Indemnity directly at the policy level within the Assignment of Indemnity tab. This field is enabled for agents in applicable reinsurance years within the current crop year, while prior years remain read-only.
Column Label Updates:
Farm # has been renamed FSN
Field and Suffix are now entered separately.
The Gear Icon will expand more options to allow users to:
Record Uninsurable fields and select a reason
Indicate Precision Ag or Native Sod
Capture skip row information
Manage shareholders
Data entry is more efficient with added features:
Tab navigation
Automatic row creating when tabbing through the last row
FSN and Tract Values auto-populate from the previous row
The Acreage screen will include a new tab that displays premium calculations for each individual acreage line. This tab will show base coverage premium calculations as well as any supplemental or optional coverage premiums that are currently shown on the Schedule of Insurance (SOI).
Current process is that the Agent has the ability to go into the EU tab, mark "Does Not Qualify" and select the effective unit structure- the Underwriter then has to go in and apply the effective unit structure. By eliminating the UW verification step, it will streamline the process to allow the Agent to print and approve SOI with the correct/effective unit structure.
The copy from Insured option will be available on SBIs for all entity types beginning with the 2026 Reinsurance Year. This enhancement extends functionality previously limited to Spousal/Married entities and allows the primary insured's phone number and mailing address to be automatically copied to the SBI.
Agents: How To Add An SBI To A Policy
The Direct Upload project allows agents and underwriters to upload documents directly into a policy through AGX. Uploaded documents will trigger work queue notifications for underwriters in the same fashion as documents uploaded via Document Management. Claims-side functionality is planned for a future release.
A new ‘Go To Line’ dropdown has been added to the Edit Acreage Line header, allowing users to quickly jump to any acreage line for the selected commodity. The menu displays all current line numbers, defaults to the line being viewed, and supports both selecting from the list or typing a line number. This feature is available to all user roles and helps streamline navigation between lines.
Previously, agents were unable to make changes to a line of insurance once it had been verified. With this enhancement, agents can now unlock an acreage line and make necessary updates for up to 30 days following the commodity’s ARD. After completing all revisions, the agent can re‑verify the lines and upload the required documents through Document Management to finalize the ARD process. Please note, if the commodity includes LP, the IRR and NIRR coverages must be unlocked separately.
Agents: New Acreage ChangeRight now, the system sets the T-Yield Map Area based on FCIXREF files and the CLUs on the acreage line. If those files have an error, the map area can be set wrong — and users can’t fix it when all CLUs fall inside the mapped area. Users now have the ability to edit the Map Area so they can override the T-Yield Map Area if needed.
Agents: Override T-Yield Map Area Settings
When duplicating a Line of Insurance, users now have the option to copy both the Fields tab information and the Legal Description tab information to the new line, if needed. This enhancement eliminates duplicate keying and streamlines the duplication process.
Agents: Duplicate a Policy Line in AgriNetAgents now have the ability to cancel a coverage directly within AgriNet.
Agents can now cancel a coverage up to 20 days after the Sales Closing Date.
This update expands agent autonomy and reduces dependency on Underwriters for post‑SCD adjustments.

The Add Year option will only be available when the Company Received Date field is blank.

Agents: Adding BFR to a Producer or SBI✨Effective 2026 Reinsurance Year and beyond, the Marital and Insured Type Field will be hidden on the Insured Information tab. This information is no longer required by the RMA.
✨Agents now have the ability to Unmask Tax IDs for both insureds and SBI, previously only allowed by Underwriting. The Tax ID will be defaulted to masked.
✨On the Insured, Policy, and Coverage Information tabs, the Agency and Agent name fields will now auto populate when only one option is available. If multiple options exist, the fields will remain blank for manual selection. This update reduces unnecessary clicks and helps streamline the user experience.

Dual Season Coverage
✨For wheat, barley, and canola policies that have Dual Season in the same reinsurance year, insureds may choose a different coverage level, projected price percentage, or plan at the second SCD if certain requirements are met. To support this, a new checkbox will appear on the Coverage Information screen and in the Policy Change modal. This option will be labeled “Spring App After Fall SCD."
