Accushield Resources for Concierge / Receptionist Role

In a senior living community, the concierge is the cornerstone of hospitality and connection with residents, families, and guests. They're the vibrant center, orchestrating the rhythm of daily life and creating the welcoming spirit that defines the community. But, we know that the front desk team has to juggle numerous daily tasks and responsibilities, all while creating that sense of welcome for everyone who walks into the building.

We are here to help! The guides below will teach you to use the Accushield system to alleviate and automate some of those responsibilities, so you can focus on fostering connections with residents and their families.

Being familiar with the Accushield Kiosk will assist in answering questions newer guests may have and can help ease the adoption of this new process.

Quick Tour Through the Accushield Kiosk

Accushield's Connect Messaging allows you to easily contact staff, residents, vendors, visitors and tours with an informative message. As a concierge, you can easily utilize this to inform residents and staff about deliveries, guests or situations - saving time and documenting communication in an easy-to-download and access report.

How to Enable & Utilize Connect Messaging

Our Alerts allows members of your team to receive an immediate & automatically generated text or email notification based on activity as the kiosk, which can include, visits to a specific resident, visits for a staff member, visits from a specific company, visits from a specific person, visitors attending a specific event or tour sign-ins.

As a concierge, having an alert send to your marketing team every time a Tour signs-in, having an alert send to your BOM whenever someone signs-in to attend an "interview" or having an alert send to multiple staff across the community when a blocked / banner visitor signs-in can save you time and effort.

Create and Edit Alerts in Accushield Dashboard

The Communities Policy feature allows you to upload specific documents for users to review and accept during the sign-in process at the Kiosk. If your find yourself consistently handing out printed volunteer waivers or caregiver agreements - having a document appear digitally for acknowledgement can save time, paper, printer ink and more!

How to Create and Edit Community Policies

Our Visitor Log (amongst other reports found in the Reports tab of the Dashboard) is where you can view all the successful sign-in data from visitors. You can access their name, phone number, visit time, they're reason for visiting, ect.

How to View and Download Visitor Log Reports

Guests can quicken their sign-in and sign-out process by utilizing the Accushield Mobile App - which is free to use if your community owns a QR Code Scanner. If visitors or staff have difficulty with the Kiosk or if lines start to form, encourage users to download the Mobile App for a quicker, more streamlined process.
