We’re working together on a series of enhancements and improvements to the system that will streamline workflows for both Agents and Underwriters. These updates are designed to reduce the time spent on manual keying so all users can focus more on supporting and engaging with our customers.

Our newest enhancements and improvements are listed below.

Agent Access Edit Project 2026

Edit Primary Insured and SBIs on Renewal Policies

Agents can now update Primary Insured and SBI information during the Sales Closing Date (SCD) keying timeframe, and up to 25 days after the SCD.

When changes are saved, the screen updates immediately, a Work Queue alert is generated for the assigned Underwriter, and the change is recorded in Insured and SBI History, including the user, date/time stamp, changed fields, and review status.

A new Company Only tab has been added to the Insured Information and SBI Information screens. This tab includes the new Insured Changes Reviewed and SBI Changes Reviewed checkboxes. When an agent saves a change, the applicable checkbox is automatically enabled to indicate review is required. After completing the review, the Underwriter can select the checkbox to document that the review was completed.

Roll Forage Production Plant Acres and Plant Dates

Starting in reinsurance year 2027, the year-end roll process for Forage Production has been enhanced to carry forward planting information from one reinsurance year to the next. When acreage or plant acreage values are greater than zero and a Plant Date is present, the system will automatically roll the associated acres and Plant Date values. Additionally, if an acreage line has an Uninsurable reason other than "None", that uninsurable reason will also be retained and rolled forward. This enhancement applies to both the Acreage and Fields tabs.

T-Yield Map Area Override

Improvements have been made to the T-Yield Map Area Override functionality for RY2026 and later policies to provide greater flexibility when working with unverified acreage and APH records.

With this enhancement, users can now:

  • Enable the T-Yield Map Area Override option on unverified RY2026+ records, even when "No Map Area" is displayed.

  • Select from all available county map areas populated from ADM data when an override is chosen.

  • Retain manually selected map area values when saving records or keying CLUs.

  • Experience consistent functionality across both the APH and Acreage screens.

Updated Sugarcane Acreage Auto-Split

Updated Sugarcane acreage auto-split logic for RY27+ to correctly handle planting dates entered after the Final Planting Date (FPD). Previously, the system created separate late-planted acreage lines for each post-FPD planting date. The enhancement consolidates all uninsurable post-FPD planting events into a single acreage line, aligning system behavior with Sugarcane rules, which do not include a Late Planting Period.

Non-Contiguous Land Box for Peaches

Peaches have been added to the list of perennial commodities eligible for Enterprise Units (EU). To support this change, a new optional "Non-Contiguous Land" checkbox has been added to the Perennials section of the Acreage tab. This field allows users to identify acreage on separate parcels of land and can be selected as needed by Underwriters and Agents.

HIP-WI Coverage Enhancement

This enhancement allows HIP-WI coverage to be added and saved for a commodity with an attached XC or TP Written Agreement when HIP-WI is available for the applicable state and county. Through Crop Summary > Actions > Add Coverage, users can select a commodity with an XC or TP Written Agreement, attach Supplemental Coverage, and create the coverage record. Once created, HIP-WI will be available in the Plan dropdown and may be applied following all existing HIP-WI eligibility rules. No additional restrictions based on Written Agreement status will apply, and HIP-WI can be attached to a commodity insured under an XC or TP Written Agreement when another commodity within the same state and county qualifies for HIP-WI coverage.

NVS/CE Includes Selected Value and Maximum Monthly Value Amount

Beginning in RY 2027+, the Acreage UI now highlights Selected Value and Maximum Monthly Value Amount as required fields for Nursery Value Select and Controlled Environment crops. New validation prevents users from saving acreage lines when a Selected Value is entered without a corresponding Maximum Monthly Value Amount, improving data quality and reducing incomplete records.

WFRP Quick Quote Tooltip

This enhancement adds an informational tooltip next to the BFR Benefit Year field in the WFRP Quick Quote screen to clarify why BFR eligibility Years 1-3 are not available in the dropdown.

When users hover over the tooltip, they will see guidance explaining that Years 1-3 can only be selected when using another person's records, as WFRP requires four consecutive years of farm tax revenue records for eligibility.

This additional UI guidance helps set user expectations and reduces confusion during quote entry.

Max Estimate BFR Enhancements

Max Estimate now includes two key enhancements to improve Beginning Farmer and Rancher (BFR) option.

Corrected the BFR import process, updated the BFR display, and added a tooltip for imported BFRs. A 0-year option was also added to the dropdown, along with a Delete button. The Delete button is only available in the quoting UI for BFRs that are manually added to the quote. BFRs imported from the policy cannot be deleted directly from the quote; they must be removed from the policy and then re-imported to no longer display on the quote. The BFR tooltip applies only to BFRs imported from the policy.

MCO, ECO, SCO, FIP-SI and HIP-WI Updates

Implemented and validated all 2027 Reinsurance Year (RY) updates within Policy, Quick Quote, and Max Estimate, including the required changes to supplemental coverage products and rating logic.

  • Updated the Alternative Loss Trigger (ALT) for Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO).

  • Updated applicable coverage ranges for Margin Coverage Option (MCO) and Enhanced Coverage Option (ECO).

  • Updated the ECO coverage floor to 90%.

  • Updated MCO rating logic for 2027+ coverages to use the correct area loss trigger and coverage floor.

  • Updated ECO rating logic for 2027+ coverages to use the correct area loss trigger, coverage range, and coverage floor.

  • Corrected an edge case where the ECO coverage range was being adjusted incorrectly when SCO coverage was added to the same commodity.

  • Verified that all 2027 RY changes were implemented correctly and that supplemental coverages interact and layer appropriately when multiple coverages are selected.

RLU County Selection

Currently, RLUs that cross county/state boundaries are assigned based on their centroid. To align with RMA's update, users will be able to select the county for submission when an RLU spans multiple counties or states.

Verbiage Change on Update F/T/F Tool and Split Tool

Currently, some areas of the system use the term "Planting(s)" when they are actually referring to Units, which can create confusion for users. To improve clarity and consistency, the terminology will be updated to reference Units in the Split Tool and the Update F/T/F from CLU Tool.

Google Driving Directions

Google driving directions are now available in Mapping. Select 2 to 23 fields to generate a route between them. You can also add your current location or another address as a starting point by selecting Add Destination and moving it to the top of the list.

Turfgrass Combo Form

A new Turfgrass Combo Form option has been added to the AGX Print Menu under the Nursery, CE, Turfgrass tab. Selecting this option launches the Turfgrass Combo Form Options Print Wizard, which provides tailored workflows for generating either populated forms using existing policy data or blank forms for manual completion.

The new Turfgrass Combo Form Print Wizard helps users:

  • Generate required Turfgrass forms more efficiently.

  • Reduce manual data entry for populated forms.

  • Create agency-specific blank forms for field use and preparation.

  • Improve document handling with optional imaging integration.

  • Protect sensitive information through Tax ID masking.

Saba Replaced by Absorb

Saba is being replaced by Absorb. Access to the new platform is available through all AgriNet Systems, including AgriNet, Mapping, Work Queue, Quoting, and the AgriSompo Home Page.
