Scribe Subprocessors

Scribe uses the third party companies below (each, a “sub-processor”) to process personal data (i) on behalf of Scribe customers; (ii) in accordance with customer instructions as communicated by Scribe; and (iii) in strict accordance with the terms of a written contract between Scribe and the sub-processor.
Scribe imposes obligations on sub-processors to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that the sub-processing of personal data is protected in accordance with standards required by applicable data protection laws.
Scribe has performed such data transfers requiring cross-border transmission.
Scribe maintains an up-to-date list of the names and locations of all sub-processors below.

Amazon Web Services, Inc.
Scribe uses Amazon Web Services, Inc. to process and store user data for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

Cloudflare, Inc.
Cloudflare, Inc. (“Cloudflare”) provides content distribution, security, abuse prevention and domain name system services for web traffic, allowing Scribe to manage traffic and secure services. Cloudflare has access to website URL that the End-User or Agent is interacting with, including user or agent IP address) . Cloudflare also processes a limited amount of Personal Data (agent and user IP addresses and user browser and operating system related information) for logging and abuse prevention. User data processed by Cloudflare is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

Salesforce, Inc.
Scribe uses Salesforce, Inc. for customer relationship management. Salesforce stores data including customer name, email address, job title, company, and phone number. User data processed by Salesforce, Inc. is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

AssemblyAI
Scribe uses AssemblyAI for speech to text transcription features. User data is limited to the speech file that is processed to produce a transcript and is permanently deleted within 72 hours of processing.

Scribe uses Mixpanel to provide analytics data regarding users’ interactions with our Site and Services. User data processed by Mixpanel, Inc. is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

Pendo.io, Inc. (“Pendo”)
Pendo has access to information in and associated with the Scribe website URL that the agent and the end user is interacting with, including time spent on page, items clicked (including Service Data contained in those items), agent email addresses, user email addresses, etc. User data processed by Pendo is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

Sendgrid has access to information associated with user emails and the Scribe website URL that the agent and end user interact with, including items viewed, user email addresses, etc. for purposes of informing users of tool features, plan upgrades, etc. User data processed by SendGrid is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

New Relic, Inc. (“New Relic”) has access to information associated with user session time, IP address, browser information, etc. for purposes of troubleshooting and user analytics. User data processed by New Relic is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

OpenAI has access to information associated with user content for purposes of service provision, namely, improving automatically generated text titles for Scribes. User data content processed by OpenAI is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe and is not used to train OpenAI's algorithm.

Stripe, Inc. has access to user data such as name, address, credit card number, expiration date, etc. for purposes of payment processing. User data processed by Stripe, Inc. is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe. Stripe, Inc. is subject to data retention requirements for applicable financial laws and regulations, though data is not retained beyond these requirements.

ProfitWell has access to user data such as billing contact name and billing contact email address for purposes of analytics and accounting. User data processed by ProfitWell is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

LinkedIn has access to user names and email addresses for purposes of marketing and advertisement. LinkedIn is a subprocessor scoped to Scribe’s activities as a data controller as opposed to subprocessor activities. User data processed by LinkedIn is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

Meta has access to user names and email addresses for purposes of marketing and advertisement. Meta is a subprocessor scoped to Scribe’s activities as a data controller as opposed to subprocessor activities. User data processed by Meta is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

Google LLC has access to user names, browser type, machine type, IP address, etc. for purposes of marketing, user analytics, and advertisement. Google LLC is a subprocessor scoped to Scribe’s activities as a data controller as opposed to subprocessor activities. User data processed by Google LLC is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

Idera, Inc. (API Layer)
API Layer’s product, IPStack, is used to approximate user geolocation information based on IP address. Scribe uses IPStack for data minimization purposes. This product masks user information associated with the geolocation information. User data processed by API Layer is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.

WorkOS, Inc. is used to configure SAML SSO for Enterprise customers who elect to use SSO. This product integrates customer identity and access management tools with Scribe for authentication purposes. User data processed by WorkOS is retained for the duration set forth in the user’s (or its organization’s) agreement with Scribe.
