Introduction

Scribe Feature Update

At Scribe, we get most excited about the features that make capturing and sharing know-how even easier. It’s our core belief that knowledge lives everywhere, and when we make it easier to share that knowledge, we’ve seen teams achieve great things. This week’s set of features does just that--now, sharing Scribes is more flexible and robust than ever before.

Referral Program and Affiliate Links

You can now earn credits toward Scribe Pro when you refer people to Scribe. You can do this directly through an email invite, or by sharing your affiliate link with a broader audience. Simply click on the gift icon in the upper right corner of your workspace, and refer away!

Sharing Permissions

Our advanced sharing menu gives you the ability to share Scribes in a number of different ways. In addition to sharing via a link or with your team, you can now directly share Scribes with any colleagues, clients, or friends through an email invite. Simply enter an email, choose to give “View” or “Edit” access, and you’re ready to share.

Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC)

Enterprise plans only

When it comes to Scribe for Enterprise, permission controls need to work in both directions. Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) enables you to not only manage roles and permissions within your organization, but also gives you the ability to create new roles with custom permissions beyond what we’ve created for you by default. With RBAC, Scribe is better equipped to meet the unique structure of your organization and the natural flows of information within it.
